pointGUARD® protectors are designed to easily encase the end of a new wood pallet. With a few screws and a drill, your're done!
With defensive end caps attached, the pointGUARD® protectors take the brunt of the forklift abuse, creating an economical and reusable warehouse storage platform.
The pointGUARD® Pallet Protection Products create a layer of defense for the main entry points of a wooden pallet. Think of them like a bumper for a car.
You get reinforced and durable entry points that can withstand repetitive impacts from the forklift tines.
It's the marriage between the
durability of plastic and the low cost point of wood.
of all wood pallet damage happens at the entry points!

The pointGUARD® Pallet Protector was put through rigerous testing at the world-renowned CPULD facility at Virginia Tech University to test the durability and improvement in life for protected pallets
Lifecycle Test Results:
ASTM 1185 / Block Pallet Results
This test subjected 20 identical new block pallets to the ASTM 1185 test, 10 were equipped with the pointGUARD® LX40B and the other 10 had no protection.

What started as a simple idea, quickly turned into a global supply-chain solution.
In 2011, the owner of a pallet company, a plastics expert, and an engineer sat down to put their heads together to tinker with the idea of extending the life of the wooden pallet. By the end of the meeing, the pointGUARD® plastic end cap idea was born.
United Pallet Services, Inc. of Modesto, California was tasked with the responsibility for the research, marketing and sales efforts of the pointGUARD® Protector Products. Find out more about them, here.
After the first prototype mold was created and perfected, the idea needed to be tested. In 2012, the world-renowned Center for Packaging and Unit Load Design at Virginia Tech University proved (see test results in the RESEARCH tab) that the product lived up to what it was created to do...improve the durabiltiy of the main entry points of a wooden pallet, therefore extending it's usable life.
Three years later, the movement had grown to include an international group of supply-chain experts from Chile, Germany, Costa Rica, the Netherlands, Mexico, and the US. In early 2014, the group convened at COLLABORATE/Atlanta, a brain-storming meeting that brought the coaltion together to launch a global hybrid pallet sales initiative.
Today, the future is limitless for the pointGUARD® Pallet Protection concept. We are fostering the idea that a hybrid pallet is safer, stronger, and more sustainable...and it's changing the supply-chain as we know it.
