Get to know a block pallet better: A Laymen's Guide (INFOGRAPHIC)

Although they may look similar, a block pallet is very different than the stringer version. Bringing a little more complexity and a higher price tag, the trade off for using a block-class pallet is usually a positive one. It brings true 4-way entry (see infographic) making it easier for transport and racking. This helps reduce pallet damage from side handling. To help explain the terminology used in a block pallet, we've put together this infographic to make it easier to understand. For illustration purposes, we've used a perimeter base block pallet, although there are other styles used. To see our pointGUARD pallet protector for a block pallet, click here to see the LX40B.
